Hi there Chris….sorry to hear of your pain and problems. Why exactly did your doctor do this?…you said new state regulations….please inform me about this as it may help all of us to know more of what is going on….also what is the strength now of your oxycodone? how often do you take it?….that is what I take for my chronic surgical back pain.

Life can be hell at times…but NEVER GIVE UP OR IN. We all have to be mentally strong and try to get help from our legislatures. Some do not understand us…some do. It is always a battle

I tried Tens…did not help me. Some people it does not or very little relieve pain….we are all respond different to meds, treatments, etc. Find one that will work for you.

I tried CBD OIL and did not notice anything on pain changes from my surgical back. I have 2 nine rods with 11 screws in lower back.

I know it helps some people for all diff ailments…..and meds effect us all differently. I have to take pain meds for quality of life my pain gets so very bad and surgeon said not a candidate for a 2nd back surgery.

So, it is something I live with….without out my pain meds I would not have ANY quality of life at all. I do not like taking them, yet I know better than not to.

Hi Vicki,
I too have many of the same back issues /surgery you had. I despise Pain Mgt doctors…they treat most of us like we are drug seekers or selling it or whatever. I have been to 3 diff ones in past and it was I who ended their “treatment” of me.
My regular doc has been supplying me now with my pain meds for quite some time…yet he is feeling the pinch from his superiors and may on next refill say no….I dont know.
This is a travesty to ALL CHRONIC PATIENTS IN THE USA!….and there are soo many if us…they cannot just throw us away….ER depts would be so overwhelmed if they do shut us down. There is no more Compassion from MANY PAIN TYPE DOCS ANYMORE. We must neve give up, I too what to keep the quality of life I have.

You hang there!…I know you pain because I have one major back surgery already with lots of post surgical issues.

Let me know of your test results….I have been through all these tests from A to Z.

Hi there,
I am a brand new member this evening….3 years ago I had a major back Laminectomy….with lots of metal, screws, etc.

I am now having major issues with it….terrible pain, etc. I get meds, but they do not kill all my pain…not even close.

I also am upset from the media trying to make us look like pure drug heads…ohh….if I could, well I cant say here.

Please answer back to me….as I do live all alone and want to make some online friends with folks like me who have had horrible pain issues. I look forward to meeting by chat many of you.
