For many of us here at TPC, we have been talking to each other online for years and we found TPC to call our online home. It is always so wonderful when one or more of us get to do the face to face meet-ups.

Hi everyone,
This is Noki4 and I am sharing a couple photo’s for my dear friends, BD and Marinesargeant.

Marinesargeant was recently on vacation and had the opportunity to meet the man behind the screen that we
all have been talking to you for years.

This first picture is BD on the Lonoh.

I love how you said that it is important to not let the pain control your actions too much. That is wonderful!

We must never let the pain control us or own us. I talk out loud to my pain and I tell my pain to back off and that it will not cause me to stop living my life.

Thank you for sharing. My apologies for taking so long to write a reply. I have been dealing with dental issues as well as my pain issues and I found myself being over-whelmed so I shut down for a while.
Sometimes I have to go to my safe mode, which is where I take care of me and put up a force field to shut out the daily stressers.

Hi Lizzben,

My 8 year old grandson kept wanting me to play Minecraft on the iPad/iPhone. Before long I found myself sitting in the evenings working on increasing our little town. It is only he and I in this world so no worry about anything being destroyed. 🙂

BD took this one so he could show the tight quarters. He said to think about mall parking lots that require a 5 point turn to get out of the space.

Fishing boat

This is Noki4 I am sharing these pictures for BD. This morning at the TPC chat, BD explained how you can tell the difference in a fishing boat vs a shrimping boat.
The shrimping boats have the big nets hanging from them. 🙂

A boat across the bayou that burned a few weekends ago. It was at a dock at one of the houses and I think they were shrink wrapping it for the winter.

I have not sit down at the computer or with paper and pen yet but I have been thinking what each number on the pain scale means to me. I have made a few written notes so I don’t lose those thoughts within the pain.
I find myself going back over the years and how each number means something different then what it would have 5 or 10 years ago.

I love this, it is so positive and good for the soul. I love to read about others who work to find the good in each day and try to look past the pain. I have never named my pain as it is in many different area’s of my body but I talk to my pain as if it were a person.

I love the idea of writing down what each number on the pain scale means to us. We all should do that since each number can mean something totally different from someone else.
I am blessed (I guess that is the right word to use) to have a high tolerance to pain.

We got back from our excursion to Panama City Beach yesterday and had a wonderful afternoon with bd. He truly is living a dream and has a beautiful view to wake up to every morning.
