Alamo, CA. September 29, 2021 – The Pain Community announced today it has been named a “2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews of charities and nonprofits.
The Pain Community provides an “online community” for those living with pain—a place where, from their home, people with pain can be educated, coached, and supported. A place where they can learn how to advocate for themselves and others as they actively participate in life resulting in community members making positive lifestyle changes and engaging in social and personal relationships and sharing those lessons with others.
“We are honored to be named a 2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit,” says Karen Kiefer, Board of Directors Chairperson, of The Pain Community. We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including the TPC Outreach Support Conference Calls” that are provided four times each month.
The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is the based on the rating and number of reviews that The Pain Community received from volunteers, donors and aid recipients. For example, one person wrote, “The Pain Community has been a lifeline for my husband who has become an active member on the phone chats. The community has given him an outlet to connect with others who have and live with similar experiences.”
“The Pain Community” is a great example of a nonprofit making a real difference in their community,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, “Their award is well-deserved recognition not only of their work, but the tremendous support they receive, as shown by the many outstanding reviews they have received from people who have direct experience working with “The Pain Community.”
GreatNonprofits is the leading website where people share stories about their personal experiences on more than 1.2 million charities and nonprofits.
