Your condition sounds so similar to my step-daughter. She was in pain for six years, diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple of years ago, became addicted to opioids (prescribed by her pain management doctor), went through rehab, quit smoking marijuana, etc. It was very hard to witness and absolutely crushed her mother.
