Wise counsel, CW. It is so important to surround yourself with others who are supportive and positive–they see and encourage you when your pain care is improving your life and are honest with you should they see […]

Just enjoyed a most pleasant hour on a Pain Connections support conference call with 12 other interesting folks with pain. I am so honored to be a guest moderator for Gwenn–this is the third time and I always learn so much. Teresa, all I can say is that YOU ROCK!!

A blog written by Charlie P. Reznikoff, MD was shared by Medscape on March 16, 2015 titled 10 Scripts Never to Write. It gave me pause, enough so that I shared it with respected colleagues in the pain management […]

Anyone found a great walking shoe for arthritis of the foot, ankle and or knee? I have New Balance and just added Dr. Scholl’s inserts for arthritis which has helped. I performed a search online and thought I might ask for the wisdom of experience. Anyone tried Vionic Rhythm Walker with Orthoheel technology? It carries Dr. Weil’s name–so I tend…[Read more]

While I do not have severe back pain from several surgeries, I do have back, foot and ankle pain that has plagued me since the holidays. There are some things that seem to help me that you might try if you have not done so already. Have you tried ice packs to your low back? If not, use a bag of frozen peas or corn, put it in a pillow case, then…[Read more]

So you are going without an air conditioner? You prefer the moist, heat on the stifling windless days of summer, eh? Great to hear about the progress, sailor.

Bd my friend it sounds like things are really coming together for you! She is a beautiful lady and will treat you well in the years to come. One of these days when we make a trip to Florida, we will have to find out where you are and pop in for a visit 🙂

Snow is just about gone from last week. Now my house is full of muddy dog prints. Sunshine and warm yesterday–raining today…………BUT this is WAY better than the past winter months 4 sure!!

Your post made me laugh as I have been complaining about muddy weiner dog prints on my kitchen wooden floor for a few weeks now. But have only mopped once! Lol. I have learned to let the small things go a little longer sometimes! I also have paw prints on my leather sectional that I must wash daily though. I learned to place a towel by the back…[Read more]

It is so comforting to hear about a kindred spirit. I, too, have done minimal clean-up until the back yard dries out. My brother said it feels like we are living in a beach house. I have a towel as well as a big rug by the door. Trying to catch any of the three dogs to dry their paws as they come in and out of the dog door is short of impossible.…[Read more]
