Bd my friend it sounds like things are really coming together for you! She is a beautiful lady and will treat you well in the years to come. One of these days when we make a trip to Florida, we will have to find out where you are and pop in for a visit 🙂

Follow up on the story of the homeless veteran we were attempting to help. Saturday Afternoon I lay down to take a nap. Woke up to some movement in the room and without my glasses couldn’t make out a figure going into the master bathroom. Both the vet and my wife have dark curly hair. I lay there watching the bathroom door to see who it was. I…[Read more]

Several months ago I met another former Marine while taking the Disabled American Vets van to an appointment at the VA. He kind of latched onto me and we talked and texted back and forth on a regular basis. One day, he called to ask if by chance I could come and pick him up close to another city 30 miles from here. My wife and I did and while…[Read more]

I also know how hard it can be to start moving and doing things. Especially after 2 surgeries in less than 2 years. The VA has given me several pedometers over the years and I have not found them to work well or last. My fitness pal has an area where I monitor my water intake and that makes it easy to remind myself to drink enough per day. I…[Read more]

Myfitnesspal does the same thing petmom. I will check that one out also to compare and see which one works best for me. the one I have been using has helped me go from 252 down to 194. I had even been lower than that and dropped off the program. I started back up when my jeans started getting too tight lol. Now I need to check out a few things…[Read more]

Nice thing about this is that it is free 🙂 If you decide to join this, my handle is rsforster215. Request me as a friend and or put your handle here and I will add you.…[Read more]

A couple of weeks have gone by and I have to say that I am impressed. I have a nagging ache in my right knee but it is bearable… Long as I am on the Oxycodone that is. Not sure what will happen because I am having my first post-op this afternoon. I hope these dang anti-clotting socks come off. They are a pang in the butt to take off and put on…[Read more]
