This questionnaire will be collecting data for the study on the relief of chronic musculoskeletal pain in patients diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). It aims to find out what treatments, actions and coping mechanisms can relieve the chronic musculoskeletal pain in patients with EDS, whether they are scientifically proven or not. The researchers hope to find patterns that will help identify/prioritize further lines of study in this area. Patients officially diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) or Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) by a doctor, will be given an access code that allows them to answer the online questionnaire. Survey data will be analysed using pattern and statistical analysis tools in order to identify common traits or behaviours.
The results will be published in detail in a Master Thesis at FMUP (Medical School of Porto University) and, possibly, in journals and/or conferences.
This questionnaire has 25 questions and will take approximately 8 min to answer.
